Self Mastery

“More important than what I am doing for a living is who I am becoming,” says Dallen Reber.  In this episode of ValueVerse, Dallen shares his story of self mastery and finding his purpose.

After graduating with his masters, Dallen worked as a sports scientist for two years. During this time, Dallen had a huge realization, he wasn’t happy. He wasn’t happy with his job or the direction his life was heading. In order to redirect his life, Dallen found a lot of help in journaling. Spending a few moments a day answering tough questions, Dallen was able to define the person he truly wanted to be. This paradigm shift in his life inspired him to create his self mastery journal. A journal that takes 2-5 minutes out of your day to ask empowering questions and encourage empowering answers.

Don’t wait too long to identify what you truly want to do. Tune in to this week’s episode of ValueVerse to hear how you can shift your life with just a few minutes of your day!

“I went from feeling like I had the  weight of the world on my shoulders with the stress that my job was providing me and desiring change but not knowing what that change looked like, to really understanding that more important than what I do for a living, is who I am becoming.” (03:04- 03:20)

“I can tell you at the end of the day how productive that day was by how my morning was. Because when I don’t start in a clear headspace, then I’m jumping from task to task, I am not as productive, and I just don’t get as much done.”  (13:31- 13:46)

“There are things that can be done in a short time frame that have a long lasting impact.” (14:04- 14:07)
